Customer Service Jobs at Home

A cable company is seeking customer service reps to work from home. This position pays $10.00 – 12.00 an hour based on experience.


1. Must be able to use a computer terminal to access customer information and convey necessary information to customers.

2. Ability to answer customer questions (basic information such as prices, programming, installation of services, billing, etc.) With appropriate and accurate information.

3. Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written, face to face, on the radio, and over the telephone with customers and co-workers.

4. Prompt resolution of customer problems/complaints (resolves basic issues and refers complex issues and concerned customers to appropriate lead representative or supervisor as necessary).

5. Must possess skills necessary for decision-making and retention.


1. High school education or equivalent.

2. A proven track record in school or work experience in working with people and excellent communication skills.

3. At least one year of transferable experience required telephone/customer relations, knowledge of CRT procedures, mathematical aptitude.

4. Background/experience that indicates dependability, flexibility, and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Employee must be available to work outside normally scheduled hours to satisfy customer needs.

5. Experience in public relations or sales are highly desirable.

6. Bilingual language skills a plus.

Hi, as stated above, my name is Ray San juan. I currently live in Houston, TX, but I am willing to relocate if needed. I am 100% independent person, so I have no problem with any schedule or traveling. I am curently working for this Cable Works Company. We run the underground cable, but I want to walk up the ladder. My name is LaShawn Toney Im a stay at home mom of 3 children a daughter born with Cystic Fibrosis so im not able to work outside the home like I use to. I also ran my own in home daycare for almost 5 years but the economy put a stop to that job as well. Bright House, Charter, and Comcast as a sales rep,telemarketing, team lead, and manager. I am loking for something that I can work from the comfort of my home.I am self motivated, a people person, and love helping people,showing them how the product can be a great asset ,

i worked for a cable company in tyler that is now comcast i believe. i was moved to the sales team and even moved into an office postion. i had the highest percentage of sales and customer satisfaction. did that for 6 years. want to work at home i have two kids with autism and i home school on top of it but need something for income and something i love doing. let me know.
