Get Paid Selling Textbooks on Ebay

I made $138.16 today from two textbooks that I listed on Ebay. I was a bit surprised that I made that much because most schools started their semester last month. But I’m definitely not complaining! My bookstore would have only paid me $45.00 for both books if I chose to sell them back. Yup… only $45.00!

I’ve been selling on Ebay on and off for the last five years with pretty good results. There are several tips that I use consistently when selling on Ebay.

1. Always research the item you would like to list. Just because you think your item may sell means nothing on Ebay. Ebay is oversaturated with similar products and they will not all sell. Researching item trends and prices prior to listing will save you future headaches and disappointment.

2. Good Communication is key to your success. Always respond to a buyer’s questions and/or concerns. Ebayers just feel more comfortable buying from someone who responds to them in a timely manner. The buyer who might be considered a pain in the a$$, is the same buyer who will bid your auction up within the last two minutes.

3. Fast Shipping! Fast Shipping! Fast Shipping! After you passed the “Does this guy have great feedback test?”, the first thing a buyer is going to check for are your comments about how fast you ship the product. Do your comments let them know you have FAST SHIPPING? I personally look for “Extremely Fast Shipping.”… If you make a habit of shipping your items within 24 hours of payment, your feedback will ALWAYS reflect that.
Shipping your product fast = MORE BUYERS
