Motivation TV: The Secret

I read the book, “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne, a couple of times over the last two years. I’ve even gifted at least five copies to friends who learned about it from Oprah. For me, the main premise of the message is to visualize your goals and make a habit of thinking positively. It’s not necessarily a “secret”. In fact, there are numerous books that I’ve read in the past that have included this very same concept. Many people will say it’s just re-packaged information, but I have a different take on it. I feel that if this re-packaged “Secret” product has a positive effect on anyone, it’s cool with me. The video below is the first 20 minutes of the DVD. If you would like more info about “The Secret” visit www.secret.tv

Take what you will from it and ENJOY! I’m looking forward to reading your comments about this video.

I am one of those voices who thought that The Secret was such a sham! And only for the reason that you stated. THIS IS NO SECRET!

Positive reinforcement and visualization are as old as God.

I was so disappointed with Oprah for hyping this the way that she did. I was on edge waiting for THE SECRET. When the original broadcast was over I could have TP’d her station, lol.

Perhaps this was a new concept for her, but most of the rest of us know about it.

However, you also point out the flip and bright side. If it helps or enlightens anyone, then it is worth the time it takes to read.

My friends raved about this book after they saw it on Oprah. I just didn’t get it and I still don’t.

Yes, I’m happy if it helps someone. I just don’t want someone to buy into a so-called secret that has been around since the beginning of time.

Much love,
Alexis
