My years as a tomboy paid off… How I just made 145.00 off of old basketball cards!

I attended a Card Show this weekend. If you don’t know, it’s one of those exhibits where a bunch of guys(some girls too…) sell and trade sports cards in a random mall. I knew I was going ahead of time so I brought a Beckett, a pricing guide for trading cards, a week earlier. I discovered that a few of my cards were worth quite a bit of money and my entire collection was valued between $8000-9500. Not bad for a girl!
Who would have knew that my tomboy days of emulating my big bro would have paid off. And paid off big time! I decided to take about twenty cards in loaders to the show. Majority of my cards were in perfect condition, and if I must say so myself… it’s a damn good collection
But to get to the point… I only sold 6 cards. I just couldn’t part with most of the requests, so I sold the cards that I had doubles of. So what did I sell?
- 1 Micheal Jordan Upper Deck SE card
- 2 Kobe Bryant Rookie Cards
- 2 Allen Iverson Rookie Card
- 1 Kobe Bryant EXL SE card
In total, this lucky girl got paid $145.00… just for cleaning out her closet. I’m thinking about passing the rest of my collection onto my future children. But if I ever need some quick cash I will be getting rid of a few more!

The layout is wonderfully chic! It’s got that funky, friendly, exciting, modern feel to it. It was well worth your time. Feels like new clothes huh?!
I can’t imagine moving my blog at this point. With all of the tweeking, fixing and removing that I’m STILL doing, I think I’d faint, LOL.
Good luck with your new digs, I’ll be checking in.
Have a great day!
