null
I just signed onto the Clean & Clear campaign with BzzAgent. The kit arrived today, and it looks like I’m really going to enjoy these freebies :) So what did I get?

  • 1 Clean and Clear small cosmetic bag
  • 1 “Soft In-Shower Facial”
  • 1 “Soft Oil-Free Moisturizer”
  • 5 “$3 Off Coupons”

So I know your dying to ask me…Will BzzAgent make me any money? No, it definitely won’t, but it will keep money in your pocket. Personally, I spend way too much money trying out beauty products. And I just can’t turn down quality freebies. So if you’re like me, get bzzing and get some free stuff!

If you need more info about the company BzzAgent check out my previous post, BzzAgent gives you free products. If your currently a BzzAgent, have a question, or just a regular comment, go ahead and sound off. I would love to read your feedback.

Girl Get Paid is finally back up!

null

Hello, Everyone! Aaargh…It feels like I haven’t written a blog in forever! I’m back and as you can see, this blog looks 1000 times better than before. I finally moved off of blogger and onto my very own site. And I absolutely love it! If you need a reminder on what the old site looked like check it out @ girlgetpaid.blogspot.com Yeah, I’ve definitely come a LONG way.

So what have I been doing for the last week and a half? Not much, just some studying and finalizing my goals for the blog. It took me a minute to import my posts (There weren’t that many to begin with, lol.) and get used to the new interface, but I think I’ve managed quite well. Currently, I’m still working out a few things and tomorrow I’ll be back on my grind with fresh content everyday. At least that’s what I’m telling myself now :) So check back often, I promise to make it worth your time.

Last, I would like to thank Katy @ KissMyCode for the new fresh design and layout. Katy made the process fun and it was a total breeze. You rock girl!

My years as a tomboy paid off… How I just made 145.00 off of old basketball cards!

null

I attended a Card Show this weekend. If you don’t know, it’s one of those exhibits where a bunch of guys(some girls too…) sell and trade sports cards in a random mall. I knew I was going ahead of time so I brought a Beckett, a pricing guide for trading cards, a week earlier. I discovered that a few of my cards were worth quite a bit of money and my entire collection was valued between $8000-9500. Not bad for a girl!

Who would have knew that my tomboy days of emulating my big bro would have paid off. And paid off big time! I decided to take about twenty cards in loaders to the show. Majority of my cards were in perfect condition, and if I must say so myself… it’s a damn good collection :) But to get to the point… I only sold 6 cards. I just couldn’t part with most of the requests, so I sold the cards that I had doubles of. So what did I sell?

  • 1 Micheal Jordan Upper Deck SE card
  • 2 Kobe Bryant Rookie Cards
  • 2 Allen Iverson Rookie Card
  • 1 Kobe Bryant EXL SE card

In total, this lucky girl got paid $145.00… just for cleaning out her closet. I’m thinking about passing the rest of my collection onto my future children. But if I ever need some quick cash I will be getting rid of a few more!

Do you need motivation? Secrets of success in 8 words, 3 minutes

I came across this great video at Hochstadt’s blog last night. Richard St. John, a self-described average guy who found success doing what he loved, breaks down the secrets of success in 8 words and 3 minutes. I loved it… And I think I shared it with 20 people in less than five minutes. Instant motivation!
