Planet Magazine, culture and fashion magazine covering progressive global culture, is seeking an Senior Editor/Writer for a telecommuting position. Applicants should be New York-based and available for periodic editorial meetings. They are currently hiring senior editors and writers for their art, architecture, design, greenspace (eco), and books sections. This is a part-time to full-time contractor position.
Candidates must have a demonstrated passion for and knowledge of the given subject matter, ample and exceptional writing samples, experience with digital media and a familiarity with content management systems such as Word Press or similar, experience with social networking applications and strategies, and an entrepreneurial spirit, as selected candidates will become members of a media collective.
