You must have a basic understanding of telecommunications products and services and must have a clear understanding of Internet Technical Support.
This Work from Home Technical Support Agent position is for an agent who works from their home office in the role of Consumer/Business DSL/ISP Technical Support: The Service Provider Agent shall answer customer questions and provide technical assistance regarding high speed Internet, dial up Internet, WiFi and/or networking connections, e-mail and VoIP. Such Agents shall troubleshoot the issue, document call trouble type, and create a trouble ticket.
High School Graduate or GED required. Associates’ degree (AA) from a two-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Experience:
* Must have at least 1 year (preferably 2-5 years) of technical support experience (preferably call center experience)
* Must have at least 1 year (preferably 2-5 years) of customer service experience (preferably call center experience)
* Must have some higher education (preferably a 4 year degree)
