The Carolinas Center for Medical Excellence seeks licensed clinicians to perform reviews for Medicaid behavioral health services. Positions may be office-based (as employee) or home-based (contract).
Candidates must be Licensed Psychologist (PhD-level), Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS) in North Carolina. Prefer a minimum of 4 years experience working within NC’s Medicaid mental health and substance abuse system with children and/or adults.
Must be detail oriented and have strong clinical assessment skills and strong comprehension of medical necessity and clinically appropriate care. Must be able to communicate with providers and government entities. Must be authorized to work in the US without restrictions (no temporary visas).
